THE NETWORKING ACADEMY at the FAMU-FSU COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
We are expanding our course offerings to better serve our community!
General Information
Surveys have indicated that there is a great need for technical expertise in computer systems management and network design and administration. The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering is committed to bringing education to our community that will help fill those technology needs and help our economy grow... and keep people working.
The College seeks to fulfill this commitment through offering a range of courses in computer networking and related technology, through THE NETWORKING ACADEMY.
Since the year 2000, we have partnered with Cisco to provide training in network technology and Cisco products. Beginning in 2009, we plan to add training for Juniper Networks' products.
THE NETWORKING ACADEMY offers classes that are hands-on, intended to provide the student with "real" experience. Our instructors are experienced, bringing real-world perspective into the classroom.
Our courses are non-credit, and do not require admission to the University (or even "special-student" status).
We will continue to look for ways to support our community through focused training in computer networking and closely aligned topics. We encourage inquiries and suggestions for additional training topics.
